Hey HIP-sters!

Hope your semester is ending off well!

We just wanted to let you guys know that the Fall 2018 Executive Board Applications are now open! Anybody who will be a student next fall is eligible to be a part of the Fall 2018 E-Board.

Typically we have positions for you to choose but we are running things differently this upcoming semester. Everybody who applies will be applying for a Vice President position - there is no limit on how many we take in so as long as you are qualified, you have a chance!

The main responsibilities of Vice Presidents includes contacting local businesses, planning events, and executing events. Other duties you may have include graphic design, managing finances, contacting members, creating marketing initiatives, and vice versa but we will delegate these roles according to your skill set so do not worry too much. As long as you have a passion for the organization, then you could be a potential fit for our Executive Board!

We're excited to announce our first tour of the semester at The Millennium Biltmore located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles! To kick off the semester, we are allowing you to bring a plus one to the event! If you have a friend who you think would like to join us on Friday at 2pm, then you are free to invite them! In order for them to be eligible to go, they must be a USC student and have not been a plus one at previous events. If your plus one has been at one of our previous events, then they will have to pay membership dues to be eligible for the tour.

The tour is taking place this Friday, February 2nd. We are meeting up at 1:15 pm outside of EVK and leaving for the tour by 1:30 pm. Please arrive on time in business casual attire.

As the semester comes to a close, we are sad to say goodbye to some of our December graduating seniors. As a result, we are looking for excited HIP members to join our Spring E-Board.

Next spring, the following positions will be open:

Project Assistant - A recommended position for new Eboard members. You get to try a little of everything, especially with planning events!
VP Digital Engagement - In charge of making event flyers and promoting HIP though various online platforms.
VP Internal Relations - In charge of sending emails to our members and keeping up with membership responsibilities.
VP External Relations - In charge of keeping up with our partners and sponsors. The VP External position oversees the project assistants and assists them in helping to book our tours and networking events.
VP Finance - In charge of monitoring HIP's expenses and budget.

We're excited to announce our upcoming tour of the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort! This Orange County resort has been consistently ranked as one of the best resorts on the west coast. Join is on Friday, November 17 at 2pm (leaving USC campus at 1pm) as will drive down to Orange County and getting an exclusive onsite tour of the resort.
