“These guys are amazing. We did a private tour for 12 people and I can’t rate them high enough. Really well organised, lunch was brilliant and the hospitality was even better. Located 65 km north of Koh Samui, Koh Tao, or Turtle Island, is Thailand’s top spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. Inhabited since the 1950s, its stunning shoreline features distinctive granite boulders that create a vibrant underwater landscape.

Koh Tao is home to thriving coral reefs and a diverse marine ecosystem, making it possible to see large schools of tropical fish. Keep an eye out for green and hawksbill turtles, and during certain seasons, you might even spot juvenile black tip reef sharks in shallow waters!

“This trip was a fantastic experience. The whole day was so well organised from the numbered water bottles, to the crew helping us with our equipment and the guided snorkelling in small groups. We saw a large variety of fish and also a very large turtle, which was a highlight. There was a delicious Thai lunch on an island and beautiful fruit on board. The crew were so friendly and the whole day was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth the boat ride to get to Koh Tao. My love of snorkelling has been reignited.”

The team at 100 Degrees East are very sorry to share the sad news about the passing of our beloved Pi Sak. Whilst not one of the team faces our guests would normally see, Pi Sak (Pi is used as a title in Thai culture to show respect for elders) was always the eyes and ears to all that went on behind the scenes at 100 Degrees East. Being part of the business for over 15 years, he brought his unique humor and smile to everyone around him. He was loved by all of the team and will be greatly missed. The big bosses, Charlie and Thomas, have already clearly stated that anyone who comes to fill his position must be able to do magic tricks! Our thoughts are with Pi Sak’s family at this time. His spirit will always live on with our team.
