Our Story,
Over the past few years I have had numerous trips to the hospital due to symptoms that were later determined to be from MS (Multiple Sclerosis). During a 10 day visit I asked my Mom to send some of my personal belongings, like my hair brush, body-spray, a soft washcloth and a notepad and pen. My Dad arrived with a Sonic cup carrier filled with my items as well as some magazines to
read. It was very handy to use, as we all know how little those rolling tray tables are that they use in hospitals! I continued to use my tote on my nightstand as I recovered at my parent’s house. Mom and I were reflecting on how useful the tote was when our crafter light bulbs went off! Mom and I have been crafting all of our lives and in most recent years have begun scrapbooking. We often joke that we have a hobby of collecting scrapbook supplies as we rarely find time to actually scrapbook! We could finally use all those papers, embellishments, flowers and ribbons to decorate the totes! Our product resulted in what we now call KaMel Karriers. They are sturdy little organizers that let us express the up’s and down’s of life! They make wonderful Get-Well gifts for your beloved friends and family in the hospital! We’ve expanded their versatility to include House-Warming, Welcome New Baby, Friendship, Holidays, Happy Birthday and “Just Because” gifts to name a few! Our take out box lanterns blossomed as a result of smoke and scent allergies that challenge us and some of our family members. We all love candles but just can’t tolerate the things they omit! Thanks to technology we can still enjoy the ambiance of a flickering light from battery operated tea-lights! Now there is no more danger or worries of starting a fire from leaving a lit candle! (To preserve the life of your tea-light battery use the on/off switch.) We love to use our lanterns in the bathroom while enjoying a warm bubble bath! The lanterns are also safe and useful in Nurseries for night-time feedings! Many lanterns are designed to match totes and make wonderful gifts for any occasion!
