Kayak trip to an overgrown island for bush care last weekend. Thanks to Liverpool council and Freedom Outdoors for organising!

Get Your Hands Dirty volunteers headed to Chipping Norton Lakes to take out some weeds! We headed out by kayak on Lake Moore to an island that hasn't been visited in years. Little did we know we'd encounter a jungle of lantana! Huge thank you to the volunteers who came along to help remove it! Also thanks to Liverpool Council and Bryon Freedom Outdoors for being an excellent kayaking guide!

June 21 marks the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, and since 2013, Hobart has been celebrating with a magical and mind blowing festival: Dark M**O. The festival is produced by none other then David Walsh and his MONA museum. The festival name is derived from the Museum of Old and New Art: Festival Of Music and Art, which reduces to MONA FOMO, which is the summer festival, and Dark M**O, the winer version. Cycling is one of the best ways to see and experience a city – either while you are traveling, or your own city you live in. Sydney's largest celebration of craft beer! With over 100 events across more than 75 venues around Sydney. New & unique brews, beer fuelled feasts, international guests, classes and much more. Some goodies I found on the events page are Craft Beer Fight club, Mtn Bike & Beer, Beer Olympics, Meet the Brewers, Tasmania Tap Takeover, Tinnie table Tennis.
