Betty Ford next! Most places don‘t allow photos - what happens in berlin stays in Berlin and also better in that way.

The pre opening night at .berlin
Berlin gets a new experience in the gastronomic scene. Expect a menu selection of international dishes and fine cousine. The interior designers have done a superb job with the lighting and decor, as well as retaining the building's outstanding murals and graffiti walls which reflect Berlin's street art.
The team chef Roel Lintermans, was the culinary director at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin years ago, and most recently he cooked at the Grill Royal.

2 days of are completed! The annual travel trade show in berlin is a melting pot of industry leaders within the hospitality market. I had many nice encounters with interesting people, meeting old and new faces and it was a good opportunity for networking. I got the task from visitBerlin to guide around a group of travel agents in the hipster hood of Prenzlauerberg. Thanks visitBerlin and for a successfull event and thanks to Regent Berlin for hosting me during three days.

I had the honor to meet Christian Boros in person on a location scouting tour for a vip client from Paris. His stunning office space is inside the oldest water pump station of berlin and it also used to be a lapidarium. Some massive statues and pump machines are reminding of the past. The same architect team who revamped an old war bunker into the art exhibit space of Boros Collection / Bunker Berlin, has fixed up this unique building. The mix of historical elements, modern design and raw grey concrete is impressive.

Inside the new Hotel Telegraphenamt a hotspot for locals and visitors is being created. Both the bar and the restaurant ROOT are real eye-catcher with cosmopolitan flair and urban industrial design, the restaurant is situated inside a roofed courtyard and impresses at a first glance. Welcome to Château Royal, Berlin’s newest boutique hotel and perhaps most surprising new space to experience contemporary art. More than 100 artists are exposed through out the porperty, in the lobby, the bar, the lounge, the restaurant, the private dining area, the corridors and in the sleek hotel rooms. A big roof top overlooking Berlin’s central districts is opening up to the summer season.

Rhubarb Hospitality Collection from London has opened an impressive food temple in the heart of Berlin. The FREDERICK'S offers a restaurant, two bars, lounge areas and a deli in the premises of the historic Grand Hotel Esplanade, today part of the Sony Center. Berlin is experiencing a brilliant revival of a social hotspot of the 1920s. The food is very exquisite and fine dining and you will find some great interpretations of traditional berlin dishes on the menu.

It is a good idea to book a gastronomic rally with the Berlinagenten, which is fun because you will eat a starter, main course and dessert, each dish served in different places.
