We present to you “Meet the Crafters”

The next announcement for crafters is

Each week we will be sharing a profile of one of our communities crafters, wonderful artisans.

There will be a range of ancient and modern crafts people, local and from a field. Set up at Moorforge Viking settlement for the Annual Craft festival.

This festival is dedicated to ancient and some modern crafts, mostly inspired by ancient techniques & technologies from earlier time periods, using natural, ethical and sustainable materials.

For example we have crafters that Work with wood, metal, Leather, bone & antler, wool & textiles, willow weavers and more.

It’s important to us that we promote and keep alive the old traditions and knowledge of sustainable crafts so every craftsperson at the event will be there to give demonstrations and show you their crafts in person, a unique opportunity to meet and speak to them about what they do, also they will have their wares for sale, so a great chance to pick up some wonderful, wholesome hand crafted pieces.
