KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is hoping to promote one of its more unknown tourism spots – the Weston Wetland Park - in Beaufort some 122km from Kota Kinabalu city.

Direction to Weston Wetland Park

- Depart Kota Kinabalu City at least by 1.30pm towards Southwest of Sabah to Beaufort. You will journey passing Kinarut Town, Papar Town, Kimanis Town, Bongawan Town and Membakut Town before reaching Beaufort.

- The journey to Beaufort is around 2 hours. Then from Beaufort, cross the bridge that will take you to Sipitang. Weston is in between Beaufort and Sipitang about 26km from Beaufort.

- When you reached the hilly area after 20 minutes journey from Beaufort, you will notice the Weston road sign on the both side of the road. Then junction to Weston is a big junction turning right. When you turn into the right junction, you will see another sign that read ‘Weston 4km’. Just drive on till you reach Weston town.

- Upon reaching Weston town, you will see a row of old colonial wooden shop to the right and a mosque to your left. There is a junction to the left that reads ‘ Jalan Menengah’. Turn into that left junction and drive all the way till you reach an large arch gateway. You have reached Weston Wetland Park.

- Drive in all the way to the jetty and register at the counter of the restaurant.
