This is Paige’s brain tumor journey - told with her favorite singer’s theme, Taylor Swift, whose music helped her through the last few months in CHOP hospital.

I promised Paige I would create this video and put it out there with her special request at the end of the video, before we choose which concert to buy tickets to again. We promise to take her to a before the is over. If anyone knows the right person to help make Paige’s dream of a come true, please share this video with them or tag them. We aren’t the type of family to ask for things much, so I feel weird putting an ask out there - but I’ll do anything for our little warrior.

Side note: Her tumor type has a FGFR mutation. The first pediatric pre-clinical trial to find an inhibitor for this mutation type has been approved at Boston Children’s Hospital. Research will start once funding is in place. Any Travel Foodies out there who need a good suggestion for kid-friendly dining? We’ve been soo busy since getting back from our California road trip that we didn’t have a chance to talk about some of our favorite stops in different states. One of our favorites was a place called, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No reservations were necessary. The food was flavorful and the the restaurant was spacious with great late hours for hungry travelers. There was a nice wine selection for adults, and they handed out pizza dough to entertain the children while we waited for appetizers(we tried the prosciutto wrapped pear). Does this sound like a place you’d stop with your little ones? We’ll be sharing some other stops we made along the way so stay tuned!

Do you ever have one of those mornings where you just wake up and look at your kids and think, “where has the time gone?” Or they give you a response to something that sounds so advanced it surprises you? This morning I was reflecting on memories of this year and I saw this picture of the kids and thought of how fast they’re growing up…but we’re keeping and in our house for as long as possible!

Today Mom and Dad are all “decked” out for some Christmas adventures! This morning were out promoting Toys for Tots (such a great cause!) in Norfolk, VA, and then decorating boats to participate in a local boat illumination parade in Virginia Beach! It’s a full day of bringing joy all around. Leave a 🎄below if you like Casey’s suit 😉👇

Have you ever purchased tickets on the day of? We went on a spontaneous trip to Florida and completed 4 parks in 4 days! How you ask? We bought discounted tickets at www.ticketsatwork.com and created some amazing memories. We were even able to snag in-demand restaurant and experience reservations by grabbing other people’s cancellations 🙌👨‍👩‍👧‍👦⛵️💙 (there are even better rates for Florida residents😉)

**Boat Update**

The long awaited boat update is finally here! Sorry to keep you all in the dark for so long, but we had to get through the long insurance and legal battles before posting too much.

It’s been ~2.5 years since the boat yard painting our boat bottom dropped our boat home on the hard. We were less than 3 weeks away from leaving for our around the world voyage. Long Story Short: After much investigation, our Catana 47 was deemed a Constructive Total Loss. Scroll to see video clips from the day we set our final goodbye to our boat home.

Even though we are sad to say goodbye to our Catana 47, we are beyond happy to announce that we have chosen and ordered our next boat home. It will be a HH44 from HH Catamarans !! The day Seth Hynes from The Sailing Family announced the New model on Instagram, we called our favorite HH designer, Erick Berzins, from . We placed the very first HH44 order, and chose Hull #3.

Our new boat is due by mid 2023 ⛵️

Update Post:
We haven’t posted much in the last year, since coming back to the USA in our RV from Baja, Mexico. So, we will attempt to start posting regularly now, and updating everyone with what’s been going on in our world.

Where have we been?
Short Answer: Virginia
Long Answer: We moved our RV and family to VA to help take care of my (Erin/Mom) parents. It’s that next chapter of life where they need more help, and in the midst of Covid, moving back to help them was the right decision.

Do we still travel?
Short Answer: Of Course!
Long Answer: Not as much as we desire. We have figured out how to leave them for ~1 week before we need check in on them in person again. We do still plan to be full time travelers again, when the timing is right.

What about our boat?
A boat update will be its own post. In short, we have said Goodbye to our old broken boat and have plans for a new one.

Kids can’t bounce off the walls if we take away the walls.

The idea that kids can only learn in school is so outdated! Learning is all around us if we just let that happen naturally!

A group of kids of all different ages gather around a big screen in a campground for a live Zoom call with ex-SpaceX employees to talk about rockets and space.

The kids asked questions, and were super engaged in the conversation, it was cool to see what fun questions they came up with!
