⛵️ Exciting Boat Update! ⛵️

We’re thrilled to share that our long-awaited new boat home, an HH44, has finally arrived in St. Petersburg, FL, it arrived just in time for Christmas! 🎄

After hundreds of hours and seven trips to China collaborating with the team, we are beyond proud to say that we were the very first to order this incredible design back in August 2021. Now, we’re receiving Hull number 5!

It’s been a journey— it was almost two years from our first boat being totaled before we placed the HH44 order. Then 3.5 years in the making for this boat. From the moment our lives were turned upside down when the boat yard dropped our first beloved vessel, it’s been a total of 5 years and 3 months.

So much has happened during this time, and while we never expected the process to take this long, we now see the timing as perfect. After an unexpected year of battling Paige’s brain tumor at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we cherish family time more than ever. We’re excited for warmer weather, a break from the city, and creating beautiful memories together on our new boat.

This is Paige’s brain tumor journey - told with her favorite singer’s theme, Taylor Swift, whose music helped her through the last few months in CHOP hospital.

I promised Paige I would create this video and put it out there with her special request at the end of the video, before we choose which concert to buy tickets to again. We promise to take her to a before the is over. If anyone knows the right person to help make Paige’s dream of a come true, please share this video with them or tag them. We aren’t the type of family to ask for things much, so I feel weird putting an ask out there - but I’ll do anything for our little warrior.

Side note: Her tumor type has a FGFR mutation. The first pediatric pre-clinical trial to find an inhibitor for this mutation type has been approved at Boston Children’s Hospital. Research will start once funding is in place.
