This is the year of celebrity weddings! , and other celebs have inspired us to find the most luxurious wedding venues to celebrate your big day. In no particular order according to us - the 5 most luxurious wedding venues in the world are -

1) Little Palm Island, Key West, Florida
Upto 60 guests are allowed (below 16 years of age not allowed) when you rent the entire 5 acre private island. Wedding packages start at $175,000 for a minimum of 3 days. The very apt motto of this island is “Get lost!”

2) Hotel Caruso, Amalfi Coast, Italy
For the price of $4,30,000 you can exclusively use all 50 rooms and suites of this 11th century palace. The palace features romantic gardens, frescoed ceilings, and a 900-year-old Duomo of Ravello for your vows.

3) Vaux-le-Vicomte, Paris
This 17th century French chateau is located in a private zone 35 miles away from Paris. It’s set amongst a 1200 acre park which is only available for a 5 hour rental. For a ceremony or reception, the cost will be about $60,000.

4) Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, India
This luxurious palace sits on 26 acres of gardens and holds 64 rooms and suites. A two-day wedding function would cost about $380,000.

5) One and Only Reeti Rah, Maldives
This is a beautiful 109 acre island surrounded by the Indian Ocean. They have 130 private villas most of them with private pools along the shore. The price starts at $7000+.

DID YOU KNOW

The Great Migration is one of the most impressive natural events worldwide, involving some 1,300,000 wildebeest, 500,000 Thomson's gazelles, 97,000 Topi, 18,000 elands, and 200,000 zebras. The animals migrate from the NgoroNgoro Conservation Area in Tanzania to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Southwestern Kenya.

These two national parks are a MUST SEE for all Wildlife lovers!

Let there be Northern Lights! 🌟 The magical and mesmerising natural phenomenon of Northern Lights (also known as Aurora Borealis) reminds us of Shakespeare's famous line - The earth has music for those who will listen. November to February is the best time to catch a glimpse! Our favourite places to experience the Northern Lights are -

"The last time I saw Paris, her heart was warm and gay, I heard the laughter of her heart in every street cafe" - Oscar Hammerstein II. Paris is one of the most beautiful cities we've ever been to and you should look to visit this BEAUTIFUL city at least once in your lifetime. Our 5 must visit places when in Paris are -

1) Eiffel Tower - go all the way up to level 3 and enjoy a glass of champagne while taking in beautiful views of Paris!

2) Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur - we'd recommend don't miss out on either. They are both breathtakingly beautiful. The view of Montmartre from Sacre Coeur is pretty spectacular too!

3) Louvre Museum and The Palace of Versailles - Revel in the spectacular architecture, glory and history of this great country.

4) Champs Elysees - We love the shops and cafes on this street. We'd recommend visiting the Louis Vuitton store (cheaper here than anywhere else in the world) and Laduree for some coffee and pastries. The queues to get in outside both these places may be a tad overwhelming but trust us it's worth the wait!

5) Take a stroll around or a cruise on the Lake Seine and explore the areas around Alexander Bridge, Pont Neuf, Love Lock Bridge, Latin Quarter and take in the shops, cafes, vibe and charm of the place.

1) Grand Canyon National Park, USA

London is one of our absolute favourites! We've been there so many times still there's just so much left to do. Our top 5 experiences in London (so far) are the following -

1) Shopping at Harrods, Oxford St and Selfridges
2) Sipping coffee at The Serpentine at Hyde Park. If you are there around Christmas - the magical Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park is a must-see
3) Getting a glimpse into Royalty at Buckingham Palace and the Kensington Palace
4) Taking a stroll on the streets of Covent Garden and Leicester Square. The awesome artists on the roads add to the charm
5) Devouring the food at Borough market - we loved the Turkish Baklava

Our top 5 fine dining experiences in Mumbai are -

1) Peshawri serves the best Indian in the city
2) Wasabi at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Colaba. Without doubt the best Japanese in the city
3) Umame at Fort - you have to try the Korean Barbecue Chicken and the steamed fish in banana leaf
4) Royal China for its cantonese delicacies - they do the best Prawn Cheung Fun in the city
5) Olive in Bandra for Italian

How cheap and delicious is the street food in Mumbai? Our favourites -

1) You can't go to Mumbai and not try city favourites - Wada Pav, Samosa, Pani-Puri and Pav Bhaji. We suggest try all but if you have to pick one - we suggest the Wada Pav.
2) Mysore Masala Dosa near the bus stop opposite Chandralok at Nepean Sea Road
3) Non-veg rolls at Ayubs at Kala Ghoda (we tried the Chicken tikka roll and absolutely loved it!)
4) Kala Khatta Gola at Chowpatty or Juhu Beach
5) Strawberry ice cream with cream at Bachelors at Marine Drive

Hong Kong is easily one of our favourite places for food. Our top 5 food experiences are -
1) Fish balls with spring roll and noodles at Nam Kee near Stanley St
2) Fish balls on a stick from Seven Eleven
3) The signature tasting dinner menu at Nobu at Intercontinental. The strawberry soy milk panacotta is an absolute must have!
4) The winter melon pastries at Kee Wah Bakery
5) The Dimsums of course - Prawn Cheung Fun, Cha Siu Pao, Lo Pak Ko and the egg tarts deserve a special mention!

The perfectly wonderful sights of Interlaken leave us speechless. Our top 5 travel experiences there would easily be -
1) Visiting the spectacular Jungfrau region
2) Enjoying the absolutely divine strawberry chocolate at Laderach
3) Boating on Lake Brienz
4) The cute Bodelibahn mini train City tour. The fact that the tour guide is easy on the eyes also helps ;)
5) Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen
