Wind River Canyon is absolutely breathtaking. We could not get over the sheer beauty of the cliffs and the river in the valley.
In Search of America - Her People / Her Places Yellowstone National Parks
So many Americans will never see Yellowstone because of the time and distance it takes to get here. I want to share what I’m seeing out here and encourage everyone to see for yourself. Enjoy! Part 3

Bear Country, USA has over 200 bears: black bears and grizzly bears. As we drove through the park I saw this grizzly bear sitting next to the road watching cars go by. I took a video of his action as we drove by. I almost expected him to ask for my “Picnic Basket”.
I took this video at Bear Country of a bear walking back and forth in front of cars as they exited the park. It seemed like he was acting as a traffic control officer. What fun!

Wall Drug in Wall, SD has a fascinating story of how it came to be. Over the 80 years it’s been in existence it has become renowned all over. It’s a fun stop and a tourist trap but if you are here you need to stop and visit!
The 79th Sturgis Bike Rally is in full swing and we are here smack dab in the middle of it. Motorcycles of every make and style can be found here. There are some cool custom bikes riding around as well. Exciting -Yes! Is it for me- No!
I love traveling to new destinations as well as places I have been before. Yesterday, Karla and I drove across the rolling plains of South Dakota. The rolling hills were beautiful and eventually gave way to the rough and rugged terrain of the Bad Lands.
We saw 1,000’s of bikers coming and going to Sturgis for the annual motorcycle rally. Today, the Traveling Lee’s are headed to Sturgis to see this first hand.
America is the greatest country in the world and I thank God for allowing me the privilege to live here.
It’s official: the Traveling Lee’s have taken to the road In Search of America - Her People/Her Places. Come along with us as we journey out west to see Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills and Badlands. Watch with us as we see the majesty of Old Faithful erupt and spray water into the air. See Buffalo grazing in the meadows and hopefully a bear ambling down a ridge. Ride along with us up and over the Rocky Mountains as we descend into Zion National Park and Arches National Park in Utah. Get out of the truck with me and stand in 4 states at Four Corners America. We have room so come along for the fun.
