Time for a thrilling yet relaxing weekend trip to mountains.

The Churdhar peak is at a height of 3690m and is the highest peak in the Shivalik Himalayan range. Chur-Dhar is also known as Churi-Chandni Dhar (Bangles of snow ridge). The trek is not very well known in the community as it is very challenging for a weekend. This peak is visible from Shimla, Kasauli, Solan & Kufri and retains a streak of snow on its upper ridge throughout the year.

The base, Nohradhar is located just 135 kms from Chandigarh, Churdhar offers excellent opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts looking for high altitude adventure.

DIFFICULTY: Moderate
TRAIL TYPE: Hike Gradient Initially Steep, Gentle to Moderate Slopes, Rocky Mountains in the end
DURATION: 3 days
BEST SEASON: May to November (Except Monsoon season)
TEMP : 5 °C – 20 °C
HIKE DISTANCE :18 Kms

ITINERARY – DAY WISE PLAN

Day 1: Leave from Chandigarh in Early Morning. With music , Masti and fun will move to Noradhar via Solan.
After reaching Noradhar will have some breakfast and a small session with briefing of the trek. After that will start trekking to our first stop Teesri (10,000 ft).
After trekking 12 KmThrough forest and pine meadows will reach Teesri by 4 PM max.
Will relax and later will enjoy Bonfire with some light music and dinner.
Overnight Camping.

Day 2: After enjoying the sunrise and high energy breakfast will move to summit. Will go easily enjoying the breathtaking views. After reaching the summit you can enjoy a 360° view of mountain range around you by standing tall in middle of the Churdhar Wildlife sanctuary.
Will spend some relaxing time at the peak.
Seek blessings from the local deity, Shirgul Maharaj & proceed back to Teesri. Reach Teesri and will camp here for tonight.

Day 3: After having a relaxing morning and breakfast will trek back to Noradhar. Will have lunch at Noradhar .
And driving through beautiful roads will move to Chandigarh via Solan.
Will reach Chandigarh by 9 PM max.

Prashar Lake Trek is one of the famous trek routes in this region. The trail which begins at Baggi Village passes through the jungles and hilly slopes accompanied by the Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges. Even Pir Panjal and Kinnaur Peaks are visible through this trek route. The mystic blue lake and a pagoda-like temple next to the lake surrounded by splendid scenery gets stashed in your memories forever.

Day 01: Delhi – Manali (12-13 hours)
Pick up from Delhi airport/rail station and you would be driven to Manali via Volvo for night stay, enroute Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Mandi, Kullu.

Day 02: Manali – Jispa/Sarchu (6-7 hours
Today after early morning breakfast, you would be driven to Sarchu (or Jispa) for night stay. You would cross Rohtang Pass(13,050 ft), Keylong, Jispa, Darcha and Baralacha Pass(16,050 ft).

Day 03: Sarchu – Leh (5-6 hours)
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Leh. Drive through Nakeela & Lachalung Pass (16,617 ft). Lunch at Pang & drive further towards Leh, passing through Skyangchu Thang & Tanglang-La (17,585 ft). Check in to hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.

Day 04: Leh
Today the day at leisure so as to give time to your body to get acclimatized according to the high altitude atmosphere of Ladakh. You can also explore the local markets for shopping. Meanwhile our representative will get inner line permits to restricted areas of Ladakh.

Day 05: Leh – Pangong Lake (4-5 hours)
Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Changla Pass (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake.

Day 06: Pangong-Leh via monasteries (7-8 hours)
After Breakfast, return back to Leh, on the way visit famous monasteries like Hemis, Thiksey and Shey. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh hotel.

Day 07: Leh - Khandrungla Top - Nubra Valley (8-9 hours)
Today after an early breakfast you would be driven to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder & check in at Hotel/Camps. Later visit Diskit Village & enjoy the Camel ride on sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Camp.

Day 08: Nubra Valley – Leh (7-8 hours)
Today after breakfast, drive to Leh after following the same route via Khardung-la. Check in at Hotel upon arrival. At evening explore Leh market for Shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Leh
Today a full day on leisure, shopping and preparation for your second leg of one of the toughest jeep safaris of the world.

Day 10: Leh - Kargil
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & you would be driven to Kargil for night stay. You can also visit Alchi and Lamayuru monasteries on way to Kargil.

Day 11: Kargil – Sonmarg

Day 12: Sonmarg - Srinagar
