Being the deer/elk antler nut I am, on a recent trip to Sea World Christmas, my grandaughter Haylee wanted to see the reindeer. It seems Holly has just dropped an antler! (the female reindeer grow and shed antlers, too!)😱😘

Anyone interested in a "Forky Pete" video, pm a mailing address. An approximately 30 min. dvd that will play on a dvd player or computer equipped with media player. I have been doing these for several years now as a hobby. Deer, elk, etc. in my locale (Lincoln County, Nevada towns of Pioche, Panaca, and Caliente.

Not the greatest at photography, but here's a couple of bucks I took today as they were standing right in front of my truck and didn't run off right away- crazy behavior during the rut!

Just love the rut in Area 231 (specifically Eagle, Rose, and Dry Valleys). Bucks (big and small), does, and fawns running everywhere or just hanging out in the fields. Where about a month ago you may have caught a dozen deer- now probably more than 300 in all areas! 😲😉

Driving through Eagle Valley this am- there were three lesser bull elk in Gloeckner's field, and I was amazed to catch a quick clip of this larger bull that was standing in the road by Tim Olson's mailbox!

Throwback to the 1970's: Snow Canyon, Independence Mts. of Elko County. One of my last horseback hunts and pack-outs. I flushed a group of 7 bucks, missed some shots. I concentrated on one of the bigger bucks (turned out to be the SMALLEST!). Forever dragging around the proverbial "IF ONLY..."!😲🤭
