When people rent a yacht for a vacation, in most cases food is one of the most important onboard experiences for them. And it doesn’t matter how complicated or how simple the culinary preferences of the guests. There can be a lack of “chemistry” between the chef and clients even if the clients ask for simple healthy mainly grilled/steamed meals.
It takes some standard efforts from the management, crew, the broker and the guests for the magic to happen the right way. And it’s not a secret to any yacht charter agent. And sometimes the efforts are basically not needed besides a proper preference form filled in.
I truly think to work Chef Krsto from DAMARI yacht (29.2m Fettetti based in Croatia) and her management will be a pleasure. The lunch onboard the yacht during CRO.YA first charter show was a delicious experience. You can see the menu, and how the portions are (perfect size not to overeat and definitely not to be hungry).
What I loved the most is that Chef Krsto presented to us delicious food without too many ingredients and zero of complicated “art house” on a single plate (it is when there are so many objects and colors and creativity - unnecessary and unmanning flavors, that you can’t really enjoy the taste).
I’ve had some experiences when “there were too many words, but little action” with the meals, and that’s not the case here at all. Also being taken care by the stewardess Ksenija was wonderful. So attentive and always there to make sure you’re having a beautiful time onboard.
If your budget is within €80-100k plus VAT and expenses per week, and you’re a group of maximum 10 guests (5 cabins for you to enjoy), and you plan to explore FANTASTIC Croatian coast, DAMARI is a yacht to consider.
