'Us'....is Dennis & Lynne a couple of Grey (and not so grey) Nomads from Brisbane. After a very enlightening (and very enjoyable) 3 months on the road in a campervan in 2010, we realized that traveling indefinitely was what we wanted to do. So after taking early retirement we've sold our goods & chattels, kissed the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids and packed up our married life of 44 years an
d are ready for whatever lies ahead. Our aim is to slowly make our way round, up & down and across this wonderful country in our 24ft Jayco caravan Harvey. We are leaving Brissie in January 2012 and heading west to Toowoomba and then south down through NSW and Victoria and eventually across the bottom and up the West Australian coastline....but that is still a way off and we have many adventures to have before then. We intend to stay both in caravan parks and 'free camp' as often as we can, being equipped with a generator, batteries etc we can stop in the bush if need be for several days. Will we work?.......maybe, but that's too far off to think about now. Will we miss our family?......Absolutely without doubt! but we are always only a phone call and a plane ride away. I intend to indulge myself with a lot more photography and maybe a few poems as the mood strikes me. So please join us on our journey of discovery......not only of our beautiful and diverse countryside but of ourselves, our land and our culture.
