Are you a carry-on only traveller? Basic fare class changes on Air Canada begin January 3rd, 2025, which no longer includes carry on baggage. As people always look for the cheapest fares to book, be aware of this as you may be surprised with additional fees once you arrive at the airport. This move aligns similar to what West Jet had adjusted their Ultrabasic fare to earlier this year. My quotes always indicate baggage rules and limitations based on your fare class.

Air Canada on 03JAN, 2025 will change its basic fare category. Personal items will be free, but customers will have to pay for carry-on bags on domestic, U.S. and sun destination flights. Carry-on bags also will have to be checked.

The Mirage Hotel and Casino officially closes its doors today (July 17, 2024) in Las Vegas and had its last Volcano shows last night! 🌋 Bought out by Hard Rock, it will undergo a complete rebuild, as well as the construction of a brand new guitar shaped tower on the property set to open in the Spring of 2027. The Mirage was home to one of my favourite Cirque shows ‘Beatles Love’, which also had its last performance earlier this month.

Last month I travelled to Jordan for the first time, and a lot of people have been interested in where I went and what I experienced. Jordan is a wonderful and safe country in the Middle East with a rich history and incredible sites.
