Why go to Aspen when you can have fun in the Cold weather here in Tennessee 50% chance it could SNOW or SUNNY and 60.

This event is going to a good cause… MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION… I have witnessed some local kids and some of our campers kids benefit from this foundation. We here at Legends on Wolf River & River Grill Restaurant want to help out and make kids wishes come true. These kids face CHALLENGES everyday!

CAN YOU TAKE THE CHALLENGE ?

Can you survive the Cold Plunge ?

❄️Weekend camping available 5.00 per night will be given to cause.
❄️bank fishing tournament 7am-11am… 5.00 entry fee will be given to the cause. Prize for most pounds of any type of fish. (Fun for the whole family)
❄️11:00am weigh in at Bait Shop
❄️1:00 pm POLAR PLUNGE @ River . $5.00 nomination, sponsor or dare plunge challenge. All proceeds go to the cause. ( COLD PLUNGE HAS MANY Health BENEFITS😜)
❄️all that take the full body Plunge (excluding head) The River Grillwill donate $5.00 of the meal purchase to the cause and will receive free drink with their meal ( if you choose alcohol limited to 1)
❄️jeep plunge $5.00 donation to cause. For biggest splash with windows down… (extra points for topless Jeep) If you think you can do it. May be too deep if rain. Use your on discretion. (This part could be canceled )

❄️Gem Mining at the creek will donate 5.00 to the cause on each Gem bag or bucket purchase

Here we are. The last week of autumn 2024. 11 Days before Christmas and only 18 days remain in 2024. Wow! May I have a moment of your time to share with you some of the reasons it is important to shop locally and shop small as often as you can. Flip through the images with this post. It covers many of them. One often overlooked aspect is the sales tax revenue that we receive when people shop in our county. Sale tax funds, in part, go back to the county in which the revenue came from. For example, that fancy purse you bought at the Lebanon Outlet; that sales tax goes back to that county. Local sales tax dollars are used to fund local schools, fire fighters & fire departments and many other departments and such. I know you can't always shop in Pickett County, but do what you can.
