Snorkeling in the turquoise blue water of Cancun along a reef, underwater statues, and a sunken ship
We wanted to go snorkeling on our trip to Cancun, so we booked it through TotalSnorkelCancun.com. They picked us up from our hotel and transported us to the dock. We signed our waivers and stored our belongings in a locker. We got the type of life vest that can be inflated in case of an emergency, but still lets you dive down. We had looked at other excursions, but opted not to go with them because they were using regular life vests that always float. We love to dive down while snorkeling and explore as much as we can. They provided snorkel gear, but we always bring our own so we didn't need theirs. The closer we got to the reef, the clearer the water became. El Meco coral reef is about 8-12 feet deep. Once we arrived at the reef, we all got into the water and followed our guide. There were huge schools of fish that you could swim through. Then we swam to an underwater sculpture museum. These underwater statues use a material for coral to grow on (made with pH-neutral cement, coral, seaweed, and algae are able to grow). The third area was the turtle area, but unfortunately we didn't see any turtles. It's out in the ocean so there's no guarantee you'll see turtles. Then we got back into the boat and headed over to the shipwreck. This was so cool to explore in crystal clear water. This excursion was so fun and I would do it again.

Sombrero Beach in Marathon Florida (Florida Keys)
So we got to visit Sombrero Beach while visiting the Florida Keys. This beautiful beach is located in Marathon and is a must visit if you're in the area. It's a public beach so it's free to visit. They have public bathrooms, sand volleyball courts, covered pavilions for picnics, and a beautiful beach. We had a great time there and would highly recommend visiting. #floridakeys #SombreroBeach #FloridaBeaches
Damajagua Waterfalls Excursion
While we were in the Dominican Republic we got to do the Damajagua Waterfalls Excursion. This excursion has swimming, jumps, and rock water slides. The highest jump is 25 feet from a wood platform. It took all my courage as I'm afraid of heights, but it was so fun. We would definitely do this excursion again and highly recommend it.
Note: We booked our excursion through Shore Excursions Group. We had friends that booked this excursion through our cruise line, Carnival, and they weren't allowed to do the jumps.
Swimming with Whale Sharks in Mexico
What an amazing experience swimming with whale sharks in Mexico! We went to Cabo San Lucas earlier this year and went on an excursion in the Sea of Cortez swimming with whale sharks. I would highly recommend it!
What a day at Anna Maria Island beach. The sandbars at the north end of the island make a lot of shallow water to play in. Florida has some amazing beaches!

Snorkeling at Fanning Springs was absolutely amazing! The water is crystal clear. It’s hard to capture hours of fun in a 1 minute video, but here’s my attempt.
