The Ogoh Ogoh Festival is the day before the Balinese New Year, traditionally their silent day follows their Ogoh Ogoh Festival in which they make the most noise they can. This ritual is regarded as a significant offering to appease demons and spirits. Commencing at twilight, individuals wield flaming torches, create loud noises around their homes, and present offerings. The purpose is to ensure that demons remain satisfied and do not disrupt people during Nyepi day.
