Ever wanted to stay in a traditional terraced tin miners cottage with its beams and quirky steps yet with the advantage of modern facilities come and visit us at our holiday let in Pendeen, near Penzance in Cornwall.

Chi Lowen has been completely renovated featuring exposed granite stone walls, slate floors downstairs and wood floors upstairs along with two wood burners and a fully equipped kitchen.

There is also a bathroom with bath, toilet, sink and shower downstairs, a toilet and sink upstairs and a separate extra large shower with rain shower head and traditional shower head.

The cottage sleeps up to six with two king size beds and two double beds in four bedrooms
Two of the bedrooms have sea views.

There is WiFi , smart tv and a radio
The popular tv drama Poldark has been filmed locally with the featured Wheal Leisure mine real name Levant being just up the road
In addition Geevor mine is available for tours and boasts a lovely dog friendly cafe

Dogs are welcome but we request that guests do not allow them on the beds or on the sofas - they can go upstairs if they remain on the floor and they can go on the two bean bags in the sitting room

Outside there is a secure grassed front garden,
secure gravel back garden and outside tap with hose for washing off any sandy body boards or dogs or rinsing wet suits

There is also a large verandah so any shower is not going to spoil outside dining with seating and a small bbq available in the summer months.

There are 3 pubs which also serve food, cafes , local shop, fish and chip shop, pottery and other services nearby including a free car park

Saint Just with a larger number of shops and cafes is a short drive away

Sea, beaches and moorland can all be readily accessed by either walking or a short drive making it the perfect location to enjoy the outdoors.

Portheras Cove and Boat Cove are the nearest beach’s - you can walk from the cottage or drive and park at Pendeen lighthouse

A pioneering 360-degree virtual reality tour launched today (Friday 19 July) at AIM members – the historic Geevor Tin Mine in Cornwall. The new VR tour is opening-up this part of the Cornish mining World Heritage Site for the first time to a wider variety of visitors of more ages and abilities.
