“The best education you will ever get is traveling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”

One of the experiences this quote makes me think of is visiting Santiago de Compostela.
In this picture I am lying on the pavement in front of the majestic cathedral to capture this moment for two travelers who’ve just completed the renowned Camino de Santiago. Their paths crossed at various stages along the trails and were happy to meet up again at the final destination. They each shared fascinating tales and experiences with me about their physical struggles and personal enlightenments along the trails.

Santiago, a gem on the Northern Tour, offers a unique perspective on life’s journey. Watching these weary yet fulfilled pilgrims conclude their trek is a moment you’ll always cherish There is still time to join the Northern Tour next summer and I hope you’ll take the opportunity.

In Spain the festive spirit extends from December 24th to January 6th, each day marked by unique celebrations. And just as the festivities vary, so does the way people express their Christmas cheer. You’re probably familiar with ‘Feliz Navidad’… but in Catalonia, you’ll hear ‘Bon Nadal’.
In Galicia, the greeting is ‘Bo Nadal’.
And, if you wander through the Basque Country, locals will wish you ‘Eguberri on’.

Exploring the vibrant heart of Spain during Christmas, or ‘Navidad’ as it’s fondly called here, is like stepping into a living, breathing postcard.
Each corner of the country, from large cities to quaint villages, is adorned with dazzling lights and decorations.
The pictures I’ve shared only offer a glimpse of this enchanting spectacle.
