Why travel with Tuscany Tours? Pam Mercer and Sam Hilt, creators of Tuscany Tours, are familiar with living “la dolce vita.” They fell in love with Italy decades ago. They became pilgrims in a foreign land, discovering little treasures along the way: the untraveled hilltop hamlet, the family-owned trattoria, the little-known museum, the picturesque piazza and the best gelateria. They became experts on the Italian experience, the food, art, history and the sights. And they are the kind of people who soaked up the charm of Italian life and embody the spirit. They enjoy sharing their discoveries and adventures. So establishing Tuscany Tours 20 years ago was a natural extension of their own personalities and passions. They decided to create the best small group tours in Italy. Their success can be attributed to their meticulous planning, their extraordinary knowledge of Italy and its treasures and their own love of the land and the people.
