Eiffel for Paris was founded on the concept of free and independent travel. After working with large tour groups for many years, I realised I had more to offer travellers and often felt held back by the frameworks I had to work within. By leaving established organisations and going out on my own I have been able to provide experiences that are simply not possible when working with large groups. He
re at Eiffel for Paris we are able to be flexible, adaptable, and go the extra mile to ensure you fall for Paris in the same way that we have.

À bientôt!!

Not just Paris!
If you happen to have your own road bike, or hire one, we can go much further afield to places such a Mont Saint Michel!
James and Tash having the best windy day ever!
Secret picnic spot with James and Luca... It might currently be closed, hush hush.
Naked Man on a Rock.
Last light on the left bank. Paris still remains a port city today. If you look closely you'll notice the pretty boats are on the Eiffel Tower side, and the ugly ones are hidden in the shadows. Smart move Paris, smart move...
French Revolution For Dummies:
On the 14th of July 1789 a bunch of angry, hungry, poor people went to an armoury in Paris and said 'hey, can we have the guns please?'... the unprepared and unsuspecting guards on the day said 'yep, no worries fellas, there's plenty of you and four of us, so go for it'
These angry, hungry, poor people then made their way to the prison of Bastille for gunpowder and ammunition only to find themselves locked out and being shot at. They then decided to storm the prison instead of remaining stationary (smart move) and soon after this those in control started listening to them.
The area this storming took place is now marked by a gold-winged reminder of another revolution in 1830, reminding us all; not to mess with The French.
..or something like that.
Petit Palais.. named so because it is in fact smaller than the Grand Palais. Meant to be torn down after six months but still here 117 years later thanks to the French work ethic.
Escaped Paris for some fresh air and ended up at Château Ambroise.. Final resting place of our dear friend Leonardo da Vinci, along the River Loire.
La Défense - A futuristic business district just outside Boulevard Périphérique (the road circling central Paris). The road on which one enters disappears under the district, leaving the zone above completely pedestrianised. The 'concrete/glass jungle' is in stark contrast to the classic feel of central Paris, leaving the visitor questioning which is real, and which is the hyper-reality. After visiting, it usually takes a bottle of red, a half-stale baguette, and some stinky cheese to put the universe back in balance as steam boats float down the Seine.
Had a top day showing fashion blogger (Instagram) around Paris.. the sun is shining, the world is great, get over here!
New bike equals new adventures... yesterday it was to the Meudon Observatory. This place opened it's doors in 1876 and was purely devoted to astrophysics. Yesterday it was devoted to burning calves, cheese, bread, ripping panoramas over the city, and providing evidence that my tan does not go all the way up. #∆
Lac Daumesnil on the outskirts of the Paris city centre... bike trails, boat hire, running tracks, and picnic spots galore!
Bonjour! Apologies for the lack of posts Mon cher Amis. My life here has not exactly gone as planned and I've been spending a bit of time trying to figure it all out.
A few weeks ago I once again visited the Château de Versailles, this time on a dark, cold and gloomy 'summer's' day. Versailles, as it's generally known, opened it's doors to King Louis XIV in 1682. It is a truly incredible feat of construction for the time, a sprawling property of absolute exorbitance, and if you're interested I'd be more than happy to show you around.
This shot here was taken in the Royal Gardens looking down towards the Grand Canal.
La tour Eiffel (as we Parisians say) from the Euro2016 Fan Zone... before the Fan Zone was there. If you want to watch the soccer, 'football' rather, for free you can come here and check it out on a screen the size of a basketball court.

Be careful of Australian wildlife. I tell people that koalas are nothing more than disease-ridden rapists, but nobody believes me.
