For those of you visiting Montmartre this weekend 11-13 Oct, it will be extra busy due to the annual Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre (grape harvest festival, since 1934)

All around Sacre Coeur there will be tasting tents “Parcours du Goût.” Brimming with gourmet treats sold by passionate artisans, tasting tents are set up on the butte’s summit.

The tasting tents are open to 11pm-ish but close around 7pm on Sunday.
It is by far the busiest weekend of the year in Montmartre, if you don´t like crowds- avoid it, if you like festival feeling come and enjoy it. 🙂

To represent Montmartre, Mixity company and its show "Levez les yeux" will make Place Pigalle vibrate and dream at 2 p.m., with a performance by artists, from 10 windows of the La Villa Royale hotel! A colorful entertainment accessible to all for free , between dance, song and comedy, where you can observe and listen to many French and international stars embodied by the artists, from Dalida to Amy Winehouse, including Céline Dion, Conchita Wurtz or Claude François!
