Dreamlike conditions to play hockey!

The moose rut is on! Seeing wildlife up close is one of many things that makes living in Alaska so special.

Wonderful encounter with a curious red fox off the Dalton Highway in the Brooks Range.

It was fun to watch some Iditarod mushers compete in the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon this past weekend. It was equally fun to see the graceful movement, captured on slow motion video, of dog teams running down the trail.

A guest from Europe fulfilled her dream to mush in the Brooks Range yesterday.
