The Nook on National Ave in Brazil, IN is a unique place to find hand-crafted items, floral arrangements, handpainted signs, soaps and lotions, ceramics, watercolor art, repurposed items, jewelry, and more! The shop is at the city's West end at 806 W National Ave. and promotes crafters, painters, and creative people in their community along with their creations. The Nook is now open Wednesday through Friday from 10 am - 5 pm and Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm.

Freddy’s Catering started 12 years ago in Brazil, Indiana but has since expanded to a Food Truck that pops up at popular Wabash Valley
events along with a new restaurant in the former Long John Silvers building on the West end of Brazil. The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. till 9 p.m. (always check Facebook for special closings due to catering events) where you will find all the authentic Mexican cuisine you could want! From tacos, fajitas,
quesadillas, burritos, nachos, to their special entrees. At the restaurant, they also offer beer and special margaritas in true Mexican style.
