I studied how to design and make jewellery because I realised one day that I actually really loved making something from nothing, and really loved knowing that I had made something right from the beginning that I could actually make use of rather than just have sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Having previously liked between 2 countries, I had the advantage of having twice as much to inspire me
. From current trends and styles, to the people I meet, physical and spoken experiences I have had; through all the beautiful beads, gems, and findings I have discovered, it constantly gives me endless ideas of all the beautiful things I could make. Things that I want to make that will remind me and give the feeling of those summer days driving down to the beach, or when you take a stroll in the park. The inspiration is in the colours in the ocean, the colours of summer and autumn, the organic shapes and textures in both diverse environments...its even in the smell of the air sometimes and remembering the memory or the feeling that goes with it.
