Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park was the first stop on our journey to see two of America’s most famous natural wonders. Located about 10 miles south of Yellowstone, Grand Teton features spectacular snowcapped mountains that rise dramatically 7,000 feet above the floor of Jackson Hole Valley. One of the largest and most pristine ecosystems in the world, the park is home to thousands of plants, mammals, birds and other wildlife that can be seen from more than 200 miles of hiking trails. While there are hundreds of campsites in Grand Teton National Park, we chose to stay in a luxury, rustic cabin at Fireside Resort near Jackson Hole.
Yellowstone
Yellowstone National Park is the world’s first national park, full of geysers, grizzlies, sprawling grasslands and its very own grand canyon. Covering nearly 3,500 square miles, the volcanic hot spot is home to some of the most dramatic scenery and natural sites in the United States. We stayed at Bar N Ranch in West Yellowstone and used it as our home base for exploring the park each day.
U.S. Virgin Islands
The United States Virgin Islands are famous for beautiful white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and lush, verdant hills.
We spent a majority of our time exploring the island of St. John, two-thirds of which is covered by Virgin Islands National Park — almost 3,000 hectares of tropical rainforest, shoreline and pristine reefs. After two-days exploring St. John and the National Park, we spent our final night in paradise on small and secluded Water Island.
Our incredible hosts were Garden by the Sea , Bed & Breakfast on St. John and Virgin Islands Campground on Water Island.
Puerto Rico
With gorgeous beaches, the only tropical rainforest in the United States and a vivacious culinary and bar scene, Puerto Rico is often mistakenly overlooked, but this enchanted island deserves to be near the top of everyone’s travel list. Thanks to Casa Los Cummins and Spoon Food Tours for showing us around!
Super Bloom
The “super bloom” made national headlines and took over Instagram feeds so we had to head east to Anza Borrego Desert to see it for ourselves.
Flora Farms
Flora Farms in Los Cabos isn't just a restaurant. It's an immersive farm to table dining experience that unfolds right before your eyes. We had the unique opportunity to speak with award-winning Chef Guillermo Tellez to understand where he finds inspiration for his unforgettable dishes made from fresh ingredients grown right on the farm.
Explore Siargao
We spent a week exploring Siargao in a tuk-tuk and had the adventure of a lifetime.
Under Canvas Zion
The beautifully appointed tents and well-kept grounds at Under Canvas Zion give guests a once in a lifetime glamping experience. We had the amazing opportunity to use this camp as our home base as we explored the stunning canyons and cliff tops of Zion National Park. Thank you Under Canvas for a truly unforgettable stay!
