The goal of the Actor's Avenue is to provide children with a fun, unique performance experience.

The mission of the Actor's Avenue is to provide the children of Oakland and Western Wayne County with the opportunity to experience theatre arts. The combination of live theatre, camps, workshops and class programs focus on providing opportunities for creativity and imagination that boost self-confidence, promotes personal expression and provides them skills that will help them become the leaders

of tomorrow. The goal is to offer a unique experience in which children may develop and build self-esteem and self-confidence, enhance skills in creativity, communication and cooperation and empower children to apply their personal visions, experiences and imagination to a fun theatrical experience.

Hello dear friends!

First of all we would like to thank you for the continued love and support during the past year. As most of you know Mel has been in Florida full time caring for her parents and as their illnesses have progressed their care now requires her full and undivided attention. As such we have decided we will not be holding summer camps in 2018 so that Mel can focus on helping her family. We sincerely want to apologize for any inconvenience that this causes to our wonderful patrons and we hope that you will continue to support Mel and her family in their future endeavors. Again thank you for all the support shown to the Actor's Avenue program and we will keep you all posted on any programs that we are going to be offering in the future.

Hello Campers!

As some of you may have heard Mel has recently had a major medical emergency here in Florida. She is recovering well but unfortunately will not be back to Michigan in time for some of our camps so we will be altering the schedule a bit. At this time we are going to cancel the June 19-30 Kick off camp and the June 24th Master Class. We are currently working to try and alter the July schedule in hopes that we will be able to run a 2 week camp in place of the other programs we currently have scheduled during July. We will update you all on the specific dates as soon as we have them nailed down and anyone that is signed up for our June camp or any of our current July programs will be offered a place in our new July camp or our August camp. We understand that summer schedules can be crazy and this may not work for some of you. If that is the case we will be refunding your registration fees.

We know how inconvenient this is for you and we sincerely apologize for that but we want to make sure we are able to offer you a program that is up to both your and Mel's standards.

She is very excited get back to Michigan and work with all of youl!

Again, we let everyone know as soon as we have an updated schedule with our new July camp dates and information on how to contact us to reschedule your session or to receive your refund if you so choose.

Thank you for your assistance and understanding in this and we will let you know as soon as we have anymore information.
