After the pandemic, the tourism sector faced challenges in reestablishing its market flow. Nevertheless, we were fortunate to have several successful tours with friends from around the globe visiting Bhutan. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who chose to explore our country post-pandemic.
We are currently accepting bookings for both 2024 and 2025. Our tours for 2024 are filling up quickly, and we already have numerous bookings for 2025. We encourage early reservations to secure your preferred dates and experiences.

This day of every year is a moment for all Bhutanese people to rejoice and find delight, for we have been bestowed with a king, our people’s king who leads us, inspires us, and protects us.

May peace and happiness always be the companion of Bhutanese people, and our Druk Gyalpo be the essence of our joy and happiness.

A father’s love for his son is magnificent and encompassing. A lot of wise words have been said about it, a lot of movies made, a lot of stories written. But no wise words, movies or good books can explain the feeling and love a father has for his son. It is something bigger than that. It is indescribable. It is unique. .
Seen here is a father, a mask dancer teaching his son the significance and the sacredness of mask dances which are an integral part of our country’s remarkable cultural and religious traditions, and the art of wearing a mask correctly thus passing down to his son the values and skills that made him into the man he is today. In the picture, he is holding a wooden Mache mask that is usually colourfully painted and richly decorated.

Bumdrak - Bumdrak means ‘Rock of One Hundred Thousand Foot Prints’. The legend tells us that a hundred thousand dakinis (angels) descended here and left their footprints on the rock 800 years ago.

There are so many reasons why I like small festivals over big festivals in Bhutan.
- a more intimate experience
- more space to walk around
- opportunities to interact with locals
- a more relaxed environment
- with fewer tourists visiting, they're also a more unique experience

Punakha Dzong - The wedding of the Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and his fiancée, Jetsun Pema, was held at the Punakha Dzong on 13 October 2011.
