When you're planning to go to Vigan and looking for a place to stay, I would totally, 100%, recommend this cozy bungalow where we've stayed at. We had a very pleasant stay that I had to share this to you guys.

Located in the town of San Vicente, which is just an 8-minute drive to Vigan town proper, this house is perfect for groups and families looking for a perfect and affordable place to stay.

☘️ The house is huge! (living room, dining room, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms)
☘️ Lots of beds!
☘️ Has a mini farm and petting zoo in the back yard
☘️ Cable TV and WiFi
☘️ Breakfast upon request (fees apply)
☘️ Enough parking space for three cars
☘️ Enough for 10 people
☘️ Very clean
☘️ Very quiet and peaceful

If you are longing for that "probinsya-life" vacation then this is perfect for you. I loved everything about our stay in here that most of the time, we were just inside the house relaxing rather than going out. The people looking after the place are also very nice. You can ask for tips on where to eat and where to go. You can still do day trips to Pagudpud or the Paoay Sand Dunes even if you're staying in this area. Totally worth it than staying in hotels 👍

But it is an Airbnb after all, so like ALL Airbnbs, I would just like to ask everyone to be mindful and treat the house as if it is your own 😊 Do treat it with care.

So what are you waiting for? Book that trip!

If you’re planning to go to USJ, it’s better to go during the Cool Japan event. Everything here is themed perfectly even the food 😭😭😭 This meal is themed before . Anime fans would definitely enjoy USJ better during this time. They have other attractions such as Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, Godzilla Vs. Evangelion, as well as One Piece.

I am a big Attack on Titan fan but the only food they have on AoT were Levi’s churros 😂

Japan wins in street aesthetics 💕 🚲 I loved walking along the small alleys specially at night time. The first photo, which was in Pontocho Alley is where I encountered a Geisha 😊 All photos are taken with a 50mm lens because why not?

It has always been a dream of mine to visit the farthest place up north of the Philippines. Who would have thought that you didn't need to go far to get a glimpse of vast rolling hills and breathtaking views. Welcome to the gem up north, Batanes!

When traveling solo in Batanes, angkas is the way to go! Batanes is indeed majestic. No commercialized areas, very rare signal and lovely people!

I hope Batanes stays as it is in all its natural glory in the future. You need to consider how people get their supplies since its very far from the mainland. Prices can get quite expensive. There are so many places to visit in Batanes though, and you will not regret going here. I have nothing but nice things to say about the people. My four days in Batanes were unforgettable. I hope I can come back soon. Please do check out my FULL travel guide and more photos on the link above! I tried my best to share everything you need to know when touring Batanes. To those planning to go there remember to PLEASE CLEAN AS YOU GO and NEVER LITTER. Hope the guide helps you!

Sharing with you my solo travel to Japan! It was indeed an experience. Sometimes you just need to wing it alone ☺️ You'll meet new people along the way and you'd be surprised that you're capable of exploring on your own.

Here’s the breakdown of the essentials:

• Round Trip Flight via Jetstar from MNL to KIX
>>> Php 13,703
• Visa Handling Fee + Birth Certificate
>>> Php 1,265
• Ark Hostel&Cafe Dining Stay 4 Days and 3 Nights
>>> Php 4,505
• Kansai Thru Pass for 3 days via Klook
>>> Php 2,339
• Pupuru WiFi JAPAN Pocket WiFi 4 Days
>>> Php 1,840

Total of Php 23,652

I kind of booked my flight like three weeks before my travel dates as to why I couldn't get cheaper flights. If you're lucky, you can find cheaper flights with airline promos. I processed my visa through Reli Tours and got my visa within 3 days.

Itinerary? You don't need one! I believe that's the essence of traveling alone. You get to go wherever you want to, wherever circumstances may lead you. No one can stop you. Though if you have places in mind you want to visit, you can plan your whole day out. Though it's a bit fun sometimes when you just find things.

When it comes to food, 7-11 Japan is the go-to place for cheap but reasonably good food. Hungry for a snack? Get an onigiri from a local convenience store. You won't have a problem getting thirsty because there are literally vending machines EVERYWHERE. Try different Japanese street food while you're there and veer away from expensive restaurants.

Remember, when traveling alone, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS. I cannot say anything but good things to the people I have encountered. They were very helpful and really would go the extra mile to help you. I hope you do get to visit Japan too!
