It's back to school time, so the infamous question "what did you do over summer break?" comes to mind! Of course we went to Disney World! Highlights of our trip included staying at Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge, riding Tiana's Bayou Adventure for the first time, checking out the completed renovations at EPCOT, eating at some of our favorite spots, and participating in Sangria University!

Disney Cruise Line is widely regarded as having some of the best live entertainment at sea. On our recent cruise, we were treated to three Broadway-quality shows - Aladdin, Frozen, and Believe. Their performers are top notch!

There were also showings of the new Marvel film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as several other recently released Disney and Marvel films in the ship's movie theater. Lots of Disney classic films were featured throughout the day on Funnel Vision, the outdoor movie viewing area on the top deck. They even played NFL games live at night there, too!

We also enjoyed performances by an amazing juggler and a fantastic magician, both of whom had been featured on America's Got Talent. They were both super talented and fun to watch!

In addition to all of the shows and movies, there were so many other entertainment options offered ALL DAY LONG on the ship! Trivia, crafts, game shows, cookie demos, BINGO...and even fireworks at sea!

This was our first Very Merrytime Cruise and it did not disappoint! The ship was decorated beautifully and the characters were dressed in their holiday best! A special Christmas tree lighting was held, as well as an event to celebrate Santa's arrival. The holiday music, storytimes with Mrs. Claus, and visits with Santa throughout the cruise created a festive vibe all week long!

Just got back from a week on the beautiful Disney Fantasy yesterday! I have lots to share so follow along this week!

This was our third cruise with Disney Cruise Line and we continue to be WOWED by the experience! I've sailed on three other major cruise lines and enjoyed those trips very much, but DCL can't be beat!

The 2022 Wine and Dine race weekend wrapped up yesterday with the half marathon. It was a hot and humid morning but runners were treated to more course time in EPCOT and Hollywood Studios (including a trek through Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land!), plenty of live entertainment, character stops, DJs spinning tunes, and lots of volunteer and fan support. What a great weekend!

Wine and Dine 10k was full of the same energy and excitement as the 5k! While the 5k route takes runners through and around EPCOT, the 10k also includes a quick jaunt through Hollywood Studios and on the Boardwalk. Who doesn’t love Sarge from Toy Story motivating them up a hill before 6:00am?😂

Today’s 5k started dark and early (5:00am!) but was lots of fun - complete with costumes, character stops, and fireworks at the start!

On RunDisney race weekends, the fun starts at the expo! Runners pick up their race bibs and event shirts, and can shop for lots of runner essentials as well as RunDisney merchandise. If you’re staying at a Disney World resort, transportation to and from the expo (and the races) is provided free of charge!

I’m trying out the Sunshine Flyer for the first time this morning! Sunshine Flyer is one of the transportation services that has popped up at Orlando International Airport since Magical Express ended last year. They provide round trip and one way transportation via train themed buses. So far, so good!

Things to LOVE about EPCOT...
#8 - SPACESHIP EARTH! This beautiful icon is more than just the visual magnet of the park. It also houses a dark ride inside which is a journey through the history of human communication. The "EPCOT ball" as it's sometimes referred to is stunningly beautiful at night with various lightshows being performed on its surface this past year in honor of the 50th anniversary of Disney World.

There's so much more to love about EPCOT, but that's all for today! Happy 40th Birthday, EPCOT!
