Rachel Rozek Pet Sitting Travel with your mind at ease, knowing that your animal family members are getting the most compassionate, loving care possible while you are away. Hi there!

Thank you for viewing my page for Rachel Rozek Petsitting. My name is Rachel Rozek. I provide on-location overnight and drop in pet care services in the Seattle while clients are away from home. I am experienced primarily with cats, dogs and other small companion animals. I understand that your pet(s) mean the world to you. That's why it is an honor to have your trust placed in me to provide them

with exemplary care while you are traveling. I am a life-long animal lover. I began caring for the pets of friends and family as a young teenager and, over the past fifteen years or so, I have developed my skills as a caretaker for companion animals. I have worked at numerous general and specialty veterinary clinics, volunteered with numerous animal shelters, and spent time on staff at a dog daycare and boarding facility. Currently I work for Urban Animal in Capitol Hill as a patient services coordinator. I provide pet sitting services in Fremont, Ballard, Downtown, U district, Capitol Hill, Wallingford and surrounding areas, as well as care for my own 3 kitties at home. I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to get to know you and your pet(s), and to look after them in your absence as compassionately and carefully as I do for my own animals. This is my goal as a pet sitter: To ensure that your pet(s) receive the highest standard of care during their time with me, and that you, as my client and as their "parent," feel comfortable and confident leaving their needs in my hands. As well, I have received a few requests for daily dog walking. Unfortunately, I am not able to commit to providing walks/check in care on an ongoing daily basis, due to my clinic schedule and the needs of my own family and pets. My rates vary based on your location, number and type of pets in the household, and their specific needs. Please contact me to inquire about pricing and availability, and thank you again for considering Rachel Rozek Petsitting for your pet care needs! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! THANK YOU! "We highly recommend Rachel. She house sat and cared for our Tennyson and we were completely free of worry. She met us prior to our vacation so we knew her character and trustworthiness. She loves our four legged friends. You will love Rachel also. John and Celedra, Portland

"Rachel is FANTASTIC - it is a big deal to let someone into your home and to trust with your animals. She is punctual, very attentive to our "kids" and they love her. I would highly recommend her services."

"Its no big surprise these days how involved with and how much we love our furry friends. I have a 4 1/2 year old Pom/Doxie mix and he is truly my best friend. So, I live in Eugene and was leaving for a trip for 4 days,(Labor day weekend). I had been looking around my area and was not having much luck finding a sitter that I felt comfortable leaving my friend with. I decided to try Craigslist and thank goodness I did because I found Rachel Rozek. Although she lived in Portland, her professionalism, sincerity over the phone and experience with animals made me feel that it was a no brainer. Immediately after talking with her, I could truly start getting excited about my trip. Peace of mind is priceless. She sent me a list of references, work related jobs and some paperwork to fill out. She had told me she normally doesn't have pets stay with her in her own home, so I was very appreciative of her taking Scout for the weekend and her rates were beyond reasonable. Rachel went above and beyond any care that I was expecting. She truly took care of Scout like one of her own. Scout had a small accident a day before I dropped him off and is also known for chewing parts of his legs out of anxiety. When he unexpectedly displayed signs of pain when being picked up, (related to what happened right before my trip) Rachel took him to the vet clinic she works at. She arranged for Scout to be given a checkup and some medicine to help keep him comfortable while healing, which she then administered over the weekend with my consent, and monitored him closely. Let me tell you, that's above and beyond! Happy to say because of her care and concern for Scout he is now doing so much better! She always called to let me know how things were going, and is a great communicater too. I feel lucky and I know Scout feels the same that we hit the jackpot with Rachel, I also cant forget about her hubby Taylor, who was so cool about Scout being hosted in his home for a few days. DO NOT look elsewhere, as she is a natural. Thank you so, so much and cant wait to start planning my next trip!

**EDIT: ADOPTED!!** EUGENE, OR: Indie and Choco are 11 years old and this is their 3rd promotion on SSD in attempt to find them a home. They have only received one inquiry and it was thousands of miles away (too far).

When their former human was deployed overseas, Choco and Indie were surrendered to an overcrowded, open-intake, high-kill shelter. Indie and Choco are an "old married couple" who deserve the best of the best in their elder years. They have moved into rescue, but they still don't have a home to call their own. Adopting Indie and Choco will add so much love and light to your life!

PLEASE SHARE to help these two lovebirds find their forever human. (We beg you...because sharing works!!)

Luvable Dog Rescue wrote, "Choco and Indie have so much love to give! Even with everything they have been through, Choco and Indie always have smiles on their faces and they LOVE TO SNUGGLE! Choco loves to walk up to you and bury his head into your lap and let the snuggles begin. Really these two are a touching, funny, sweet little couple.

They have shown they are housebroken, are completely non destructive and very quiet and mellow companions inside. They have also been examined by our vet and they are both very physically fit!

Choco and Indie are OK with other medium/large dogs, but they shouldn’t share a home with other dogs of any size.

Choco and Indie recently joined when Sophie Gamand visited and took their beautiful portraits! They were a little shy during our photoshoot, but oh so sweet.

We are in Eugene, Oregon and ask that anyone interested in adopting these two dogs live within driving distance of our rescue, so that you can visit us and meet the dogs in person. You will be asked to complete an application and provide references and photos/video of your home and yard."

To adopt Indie and Choco, please email Melinda of Luvable Dog Rescue at [email protected].

In case there has been any confusion, my FB page was out of date until now. I have now updated my information to reflect my Seattle service area, instead of showing Portland. Seattle, I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets!

Hi Everyone. This is to announce that I am only taking pet sitting jobs in Portland under special circumstances from here on out, as I have moved to Seattle. I am so grateful for my Portland clients' trust, friendship, and the opportunity to get to know your wonderful furry family members over the last few years. I may be able to still accept shorter duration jobs (several days to a week) with advance notice if I am able to coordinate it with a trip back to PDX to visit friends and family, which I am trying to do frequently. Feel free to let me know if you are in need, and if I can accomodate I would love to do so, however my availability will be limited, and I may need to refer you to another sitter in PDX that I trust. Thank you so much. I will miss Portland very much, and all my incredible friends there, but am looking forward to new adventures in the Emerald City.
