This is how I trace back to where it all began, to the ancestors that I can remember. My name is Mikaele Vakaloloma. I have two sons: my eldest son is Etuate Vakaloloma, and my youngest son is Mikaele Vakaloloma (Junior). I also have three daughters: Ruth, Faith, and Ella. Additionally, I have one half-brother who is older than me, named Alex, and a younger brother named Jerald. Furthermore, I have three sisters named Makoi, Loata, Milika, and Jennifer. Our father's name is Etuate Vakaloloma. He had a half-brother named Taniela, who is older than him and lives in New Zealand with no sons but has daughters. Etuate (my father) also has two other siblings named Elizabeth Mokoi and Uluibau. Uluibau has only one son, and the rest are daughters. We are descendants of Paula Vula Vakararawa. Our Mataqali; Naivucinimasi, Tokatoka; Naveisavui; our portion of the land is called Naividakua, from the village of Naroi on the island of Moala in the Yasana o Lau, Fiji
