Travel is about exploring cultures, honoring stories, and celebrating the people who shape our world. While some may try to erase history, we know that Black history is world history—and it deserves to be recognized, honored, and remembered.

From the Tuskegee Airmen, who broke barriers in aviation, to the countless Black explorers, entrepreneurs, and cultural icons who have shaped the travel industry and beyond, Black contributions are woven into every corner of our world.

This month—and every month—I celebrate all people, all cultures, and all histories. No matter what policies change, this page will always honor the voices and stories that deserve to be told.

⚠️ URGENT PASSPORT WARNING FOR NON-BINARY & TRANS TRAVELERS ⚠️

To all my travel clients who are non-binary, trans, or have gender markers other than “M” or “F” on their passports: please be aware that there are reports of a federal freeze on issuing or renewing passports with the “X” gender marker under the current administration.

Additionally, some travelers have alleged that their passports have been confiscated at airports or during the renewal process. While these reports are still developing, it’s crucial to take extra precautions if you are planning international travel soon.

What You Should Do:

✅ Check your passport NOW – If it’s expired or close to expiring, seek legal guidance before attempting to renew.

✅ Avoid making unnecessary updates to your gender marker or other personal details until more clarity emerges.

✅ Carry additional identification when traveling (state ID, birth certificate, legal name change docs).

✅ Monitor official State Department updates on passport policies.

✅ Be prepared for potential delays and have backup travel documents if possible.

If you are impacted by this or have concerns about upcoming travel, I strongly recommend consulting an immigration or civil rights attorney before booking international trips.

I love helping clients experience the magic of Europe’s Christmas markets—from twinkling lights and mulled wine to handcrafted gifts and festive cheer. And I have TWO amazing options available for this winter!

I can book you into either one of these, but I will only be able to travel and personally es**rt the Cruise option, which is taking place over Thanksgiving Week.

The upside to the cruise is if you planned to bring your children, kids under 15 are free in the cabin with an adult. That being said, these are very small river cruise ships. Max occupancy is 2-3 and only certain limited cabins will hold 3, so availability is VERY limited. I plan to go a couple of days early and spend time in the departure city.
