We are in the process of planning our next quick get away to Walt Disney World and I thought I would share some of our tips for saving a little money when going to visit the Mouse. As you know, I love Disney World and every time we go I learn and/or experience something new. Our last trip was in April for the Inaugural Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon weekend. This was a quick trip without kids. For those of you with kids, I recommend an adults only trip once in a while. There are so many other things to do when the kids aren't there. [ 463 more words. ]

Disney recently introduced Disney After Hours, a ticketed event that allows guests to stay in the Magic Kingdom after the park closes to the public. The event offers a limited number of guests (I heard it is 8,000) access to most of the attractions and they provide complimentary beverages and ice cream treats. It runs from 11pm - 2am. On April 14 we were privileged enough to be offered complimentary admission to this ticketed event. [ 520 more words. ]

My Favorite Epcot Ride http://wp.me/p2DNzm-35

Over the years Epcot has turned into my favorite part at Walt Disney World. It has the best of all parks all wrapped into one. You can experience great rides and entertainment, world class food, and an atmosphere that lets you unwind or go wild. For me, choosing my favorite ride at Epcot is a bit of a challenge. I enjoy all of them but there aren't that many to choose from. [ 185 more words. ]

My Favorite Disney's Hollywood Studios Ride

Hollywood Studios has lots to offer but when it comes to the rides department, I wish there was a bit more. There is a great roller coaster, Rock-n-Roller Coaster. It also has arguably the most thrilling ride in all of Walt Disney World, the Hollywood Tower of Terror. These two rides, however, do not make it to my favorite ride in Hollywood Studios. The Village Green Rooms at Boardwalk Villas

It is tough to get a bad room view when staying at a deluxe resort at Walt Disney World, especially if you are choosing a "preferred view" room. When booking a DVC reservation you have the ability to request basically any location for your room, right down to a specific room number. For us that is a little too specific. I Love Character Dining!

When you go to Walt Disney World there are countless opportunities to find characters to interact with. We have found that if you aren’t there just as the character arrives, you are destined to stand in a long line to get a quick photo session with said character. Dole Whip vs. Mickey Ice Cream Bar

I have an ongoing debate within my head... Which is better??? The Dole Whip or the Mickey Ice Cream Bar... The Dole Whip is fruity and evokes memories of the islands. My 3 Favorite Rides at the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is the icon of Walt Disney World and it is loaded with great rides and entertainment. I love how you immediately get immersed in the magic as you walk under the train station. The first glimpse of Main Street USA is unforgettable, and takes my breath away every time I visit. A nice stroll towards Cinderella’s Castle opens the door to all the rides the Magic Kingdom has to offer. [ 453 more words. ]

Attention to Detail - Disney Wins Every Time.

It’s the little things that count. Any vacation spot offers opportunities to escape from the everyday. The key to repeat business is consistency and what I like to call the “wow factor”. While I haven’t been to every top vacation spot I can tell you that Disney is the King at the “wow factor”. They somehow think of everything to ensure an unforgettable vacation experience every time. Le Cellier is Good, The Yachtsman is Better!

Let’s be clear, both Le Cellier and the Yachtsman Steakhouse are great choices for dining at Walt Disney World. The point of this post is to highlight why I believe the Yachtsman is worth the 15 minute walk outside Epcot. Sweet Treats at Epcot

I’ll keep this post short and “sweet”. There is so much to see and do at Epcot that you could easily forget to satisfy your inner child’s sweet tooth. If you ask anyone about where to go for a sweet treat they will likely say France’s Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie. It is by far the best place to get an unforgettable dessert in Epcot. My Kids' Favorite Ride in the Entire World!

There are lots of rides at Walt Disney World. Most of which my 3 children love to ride. There is one clear standout for my twin 9-year-old boys. Pecos Bill is My Favorite Counter Service in Magic Kingdom

I will freely admit that I am not the biggest fan of the dining options available within the Magic Kingdom. The wait times are usually long and the options are just OK. Fortunately, the resorts that surround the Magic Kingdom offer amazing options in close proximity. But when I do decide to dine at the Magic Kingdom, I head to Frontierland for the best counter service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.
