"Outstanding! If every AirBNB was like this, hotels would go out of business! We selected this cottage based on photos alone because we knew nothing about Asheville before arriving. It was a super short drive from the airport, which was appreciated because we came in on a late flight. We let ourselves in and found an immaculate, recently remodeled 3 BR 2 BA cottage packed with every amenity we could have imagined. Our hosts even had a jar full of brownies with a birthday candle waiting for us because it was our daughter’s birthday weekend. So sweet! The new gas fireplace was thoroughly enjoyed because it got quite nippy during our stay and we’re thin-blooded Floridians. The beds were comfy and has soft luxury linens. There was a full size washer and dryer, which came in handy. The back yard had an awesome little fire pit and a gas grill, and the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to cook a full steak & trimmings dinner. The inside was decorated throughout with the hostess’s personal artistic creations, and she is very talented! The cottage is super close to groceries, about 15 minutes to The Biltmore, and about 25 minutes to downtown - all just right for us. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood which made allowed for restful sleep. The Welcome Book was packed with helpful information, too. It was just a perfect AirBNB experience for us and if we ever make it back to Asheville, we’ll definitely choose the Artist Cottage again! Thanks Cheri and Carl!!"
