There are so many supporters encouraging the newest innovation center in Okayama to achieve all that needs to be done to create sustainable opportunities but its so inspiring to find that the property has historical icons Koan OGATA on our side too!

This tree covers an area of memorial to one of Japans most important innovators and leaders Koan OGATA who was born in this area. He was a physician who founded what is known today as Osaka University but also trained many of the leaders that westernized Japan in the Meiji Restoration. We hope the spirit of OGATA-san guides us on our journey at Innovation Hills.

I am so excited to see that the Kochi Yosakoi Festival will be streamed live because it is certainly one of the most exciting festivals I have seen.
Summer seasons have been really hot, so to be in the comfort of my home is really appealing. Woohoo!

This is how we roll (literally) at the newest innovation center in West Japan. It makes for really interesting meetings with new visitors to the center.
Talk about shifting the balance of power in discussions. I think its a brilliant way to work! Come visit and learn about all the amazing projects we are doing!

A day in the office consists of balancing on these balls. Great for staying on top of what you are doing, not to forget adding healthy aspects of posture, centering your body and keeping you awake!

Katsuo-no-Tataki is the iconic fish that can be found in Kochi in nearly every restaurant, cafe, supermarket and even fast food places. Thinking what to do as the weather gets warmer here in Japan. If you can move and are able to travel with your own car, Shimanto River offers so many things to do that will give you the opportunity to take a deep breathe and find your inner calm.
If you are looking for an adventure and to get the heart pumping, you can find many activities with walking in nature, kayaking down the river or finding the private spot to dip your feet in the water. I love this video which allows me to dream of going until I am able to visit! Please dream of Kochi!
