My goal in starting Lazarus Designs was to bring high quality design to the residential market, with a focus on unique and creative designs where aesthetics, efficient planning, design customization and personalization is a priority. Project Manager-Intern Architect
Responsibilities included participation in all phases of the design process, from programmatic studies and discussions, conceptual planning and schematic design. I was the project manager for several projects and was responsible for the design development and the production of construction documents. As Project Manager, I managed not only the in house production team but consultants as well. Once the documents were complete, I transitioned to a Construction Administration role on several of the projects. Notable Projects:
• Creighton Middle School, Lakewood, CO
A 31,000 Sq. Addition with a total construction cost of $6,800,000 for Jefferson County Public Schools.
• Colorado State Penitentiary Expansion, Florence, CO
A 448,000 square foot maximum security facility with a total construction cost of $150,000,000 for the State of Colorado.
• Alpine Village Housing, Colorado Springs, CO
A three building complex totaling 130,000 square foot with a construction cost of $17,200,000.
• Broadmoor South Tower, Broadmoor Hotel
A complex renovation to a building located on the Historic Broadmoor Hotel campus. The 138,000 square foot project had a total construction cost of $26,000,000.
• Fox Meadow Middle School, Colorado Springs, CO
This 128,000 square foot project for Harrison School District 2 had a total construction cost of $13,000,000 and won an AIA design award in 2006. Ottino Custom Building

Responsibilities while at Ottino Custom Building included designing, detailing, and production of construction documents for several high end custom homes. Notable Projects:
• Dressen Residence, Pueblo, CO
A 5,000 square foot residence located at Walkingstick Estates in Pueblo, Colorado. The total construction cost of the project was approximately $800,000.

This 6,000 square foot structure has become an icon for the city of Pueblo along with the Sangre De Cristo Arts Center.
