Winter blues setting in? Dreaming of traveling abroad in 2023? Equestravel is excited to announce that we are now the official US agent for Flowerhill Equestrian Centre in County Galway, Ireland!

We are now able to book trips of all sizes for 2023. We are currently booking fox hunting trips for late winter-spring 2023 and cross country riding trips year round!

Flowerhill Equestrian Centre has over 150 fences including a mixture of natural logs, drops, bush fences, banks, ditches, stone walls and a huge variety of man made obstacles with most of the fences including 2 or more options to suit different abilities. They have a range of horses to suit and accommodate most intermediate through advanced riders. Every cross country trip inludes two jumping sessions per day, hound exercise, and hacking across hundreds of hectares of gorgeous Irish countryside.

Flowerhill is now offering all-inclusive trips. For more adventurous travelers, we are happy to arrange accomodations and side trips. Please message me, , or email [email protected] for more info!

We added a third trip to Ireland August 4-7! Most of this trip filled off of our wait list, but a few people moved from late July trip, so we four trip openings!

Good news: we added a second cross country riding trip to Ireland! This trip will run July 27-31, 2022. You'll arrive in Ireland on July 26 and get settled at the Oak Lodge, and do 2 cross country rides per day Wednesday through Saturday and one on Sunday.

We filled all but 2 spots off of our wait list, so I have two spots to the first person or people ready to put down a deposit! This is our most advanced riding trip, so we are asking for riders with experience jumping 3'+.

The Curated Travel Co and Equestravel are excited to announce a July 2022 cross country riding trip to Flowerhill Equestrian in Portumna, Ireland!

What it is: July 13-17, 2022
5 day trip with 9 cross country rides (2 a day Wed-Sat and 1 on Sunday) across the gorgeous terrain of Western Ireland. You'll ride a well-trained Irish horse through the countryside, galloping across fields and over a well-appointed cross country course consisting of ditches, banks, stone walls, logs, coops, tables, and dozens of other jumps. Everyone will jump at least novice height/difficulty jumps, with more challenging jumps available for more experienced riders.

Where you'll stay: Accommodations are the quaint Oak Lodge in Portumna, where you'll return from a long day of riding to a waiting Irish Coffee. Owner Mary can arrange everything from dinner reservations to massages to make your trip perfect.

What's included: 5 days of riding, breakfast, lunches, and accommodations.

What's not included: Airfare, ground transportation, and dinners.

Cost: $1255, give or take exchange rates.

I have FOUR spots left for our Equestravel Ireland trip! Ideally, we'd like to get deposits in by February 1, but if you can't make that happen, we can probably still get you a spot.

This is a cross country riding trip for intermediate riders and above. You will jump twice a day, beginner novice to novice height fences and above depending on experience level. You'll ride lovely, very well trained Irish Sport Horses and Cobs. Depending on the day, you'll gallop across open fields and into ditches and waters with jumps out, jump banks, jump up and down hills, exercise hounds, and much more!

Details are as follows:
Arrive July 12, 2022, and get settled at the lovely Oak Lodge B&B in Portumna, Ireland.
July 13-17: 2 XC rides per day at Flowerhill, with lively dinners in the local Portumna restaurants and pubs.

Total cost is $1233 for riding, breakfast, lunch, and accommodations in a single room, give or take changing exchange rates.
