Caring for a baby does require specific knowledge about diapers, wipes, and bath time, but most importantly caring for a baby involves a presence of self that often gets lost in the sea of products, questions and unsolicited advice. Not only do I share my knowledge about baby care, but I also encourage parents to be confident in the knowledge that they already have everything inside of them to tak
e care of the gift that has been given to them. Sessions incorporate individual needs, preferences and desires of parents. Every family receives valuable support and guidance from a rich repertiore of parenting knowledge. Mothers and fathers are embraced and strengthened in the parenthood journey. I have been working with young children and their families for over fifteen years. After graduating from UCLA, I began my career as an educator. The birth of my first son inspired me to further my education and experience with mothers, babies, fathers, and families. I focused my attention on the prenatal and perinatal relationship between mother/father and child. I received my master’s degree and began serving families in their parenthood journey. Nine years and five children later, I am continually inspired by the parents and children I meet. I strive to be a life-long learner. I constantly receive a wealth of knowledge from my children, friends, colleagues and clients whom I work with. Helping men and women become the best parents they can be is my honor and joy.
