We’re starting the month strong as we announce the appointment of Xavier Robles as 𝗔&𝗞 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, effective 1 September 2023. In his new role, he will be the unifying force behind A&K Thailand's people and operations, also covering Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and Singapore.

Xavier joined Abercrombie & Kent Southeast Asia in August 2022 as our Director of Sales handling the Latin America and Europe markets. With over two decades of industry experience, he shares with us his expertise and destination knowledge, ranging from sales to product, operations and general management.

Xavier shares his excitement: “I'm thrilled to assume this role as we navigate the post-pandemic travel landscape. Leading our Thailand team and actively contributing to our unified goals fills me with enthusiasm!”

Our clean water project in Vietnam has brought safe water to 1,010 children and 130 teachers in Mai Chau, a rural district about three hours from Hanoi.

LifeStraw community water filters, which deliver clean water by removing 99.99% of bacteria from any water source, were installed in 12 schools across the district, helping to relieve the financial burden for families as well as reduce the environmental impact of bottled drinking water.
