The beautiful town of Shelburne Nova Scotia is coming alive with Summer on the horizon....
The docks are now in at the Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club, grass is being cut in the parks and we're ready to welcome guests from land or sea....

Wow....another great Founder's Days in Shelburne. The fireworks and Parade of Lights on the harbour, just keeps getting better. What a great place to work and play!!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Spring/Summer..here on the waterfront. Docks are in at the Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club and there is a visiting sailboat docked this morning. Here we go folks....come and visit beautiful Shelburne, Nova Scotia

Wow, we think Spring has arrived. Schooner in the harbuor. A few brave folks sailing in the harbour. The days are brighter and longer folks. Canada 150 tulips coming up in our front garden..yay.
We will not be accepting reservations until May 15th for the coming summer. One change being, a minimum two night stay now in effect. We look forward to another wonderful tourist season and welcoming our guests. Judy and Bob

Fall is approaching and so is one of our most fun weekends in Shelburne. The Whirligig Festival, Waves of Wool and the Ukele Festival has got us all hopping and hoping for great weather. Sun's out and the harbour is looking lovely.

Oh my.....the colour is amazing....the ditches are full of purple, pink and white Lupins.....how wonderful. Sailboats visiting from afar and life is grand in Shelburne Nova Scotia....

Spring is here finally.....the crocuses are exceptionally beautiful, or was it soooo long in coming. Lot's of pre-bookings coming in for our lively tourism season that is quickly approaching.

Oh buoy(pardon the pun) the harbour is pretty much open water today.....yahoo says the gulls and cormorants. Robins were everywhere looking for worms, alas, berries still a staple.....sun's up...looking great....

Well.....dare I say that winter is hopefully drawing it's last breath....Lots of snow to melt but the sunshine is definitely warmer.....lots more of that to come. Ramping up for a busy season.

Lobster season start day has been postponed again this year due to rough seas and high winds. Last year was a bounty catch...let's hope this year is another lucrative year....and safe one for our lobstermen...

What a great Saturday in Shelburne. Doing the "Christmas Crawl" in support of our local businesses and enjoying the company of friends. Started off with brisk wintery winds and ended up in lovely sunshine......

Interesting to see a visitor in our harbour. Looks like a long journey is planned or underway on this sailboat. Fuel and water containers are strapped to the deck.....brave soul is probably heading south...I hope.

Fall colours have peaked...I think....Beautiful and serene countryside and some interesting birds are passing through the area.....Love this place...

The sun is back and feeling wonderful....the fall colours in the countryside are stunning. Forgot about the cranberry bogs in the area....friends just delivered us a nice bag of berries. Yummy and just in time for Thanksgiving.

A fun filled and interesting weekend AGAIN in Shelburne and surrounds.....Shelburne Rug Hookers put on an amazing display on Saturday, I got to be one of the streetside, corner Hookers with Luisa Martinez....spoke to Lots of folks. The Whirligig Festival was spectacular and Mother Nature sure provided a wind to get those woris of art spinning...A real treat to see the Mersey Swing Band perform and do a little "rug cutting" in Milton on Saturday night. Thank goodness for a wet Monday morning so we can REST.....
