Open Our Skies Norwegian is the first low-fare carrier providing transatlantic service between several destinations and Europe. and the EU countries.

Norwegian is the first low-fare carrier providing transatlantic service between several destinations in the U.S. In this otherwise highly concentrated market, Norwegian offers a competitive choice to all consumers, with low fares, award-winning service, and brand new, eco-friendly and sustainable aircraft, like the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Norwegian is the first European carrier to

establish crew bases in the U.S. and offers several hundred jobs to American crew. During 2014, 300 American crew will work for Norwegian. Norwegian’s service will inject much-needed competition in the transatlantic market and achieve one of the key objectives of the air service agreement between the U.S. and European Union – promoting “open skies” access and reciprocal recognition for airlines of both the U.S. One million passengers will fly Norwegian in and out of the U.S. in 2014, the first full year in operation.
