Bilbao & San Sebastián, the northern Spain Basque region, are must sees. San Sebastián was a beautiful seaside city, architecture, fabulous food (Pintxos & Basque Cheesecake, yum!), shopping, beaches, mountains just perfect! Bilbao, larger in size but filled with the arts, theatre and the main highlight, The Guggenheim! This is a must see area to any Spain or southern France Itinerary for at least 3 days, though I saw it in one!
