But, I discovered love for a new hobby in the midst of all the uncertainty - soap making. What began as a simple way to pass the time quickly morphed into an obsession

It's a fascinating process, the chemical reaction between two very different ingredients (oil + lye), and the fact that the result is something that keeps illness at bay and protects the user, resonated with me.

It's been a joy to provide NEA and, quite literally, the world (thanks to social media) with natural, nourishing skincare alternatives. Each bar of soap is crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients and zero harsh additives.

I offer other products in my storefront such as wax melts, car fresheners, soap accessories, and more!

My name is Jennifer Miller and the owner/baker of Log Cabin Bakery and Farm, LLC. I started baking for friends and families while homeschooling my son. In July 2015, I started attending farmers’ markets with cinnamon rolls and yeast rolls. We have continued to add products to the menu, yearly. If you are looking for fresh baked goodies like Grandma made, we have you covered! A few favorite items are cinnamon rolls, yeast rolls, lemon & blueberry lemon pound cakes, cobblers. We also offer no gluten added items.

November 2022 we added freeze dried items to our menu. We currently have 2 freeze dryers that run almost 24/7! We offer a wide variety of candy, pickles, pickled okra, strawberries, bananas, peaches, pineapples, and some herbs/greens.

December 2023 our “Bakery Barn” was completed. We were able to move from our personal kitchen to a remodeled building. The new space is perfect for baking and freeze drying. With this new space, inspiration is endless...look for new items to be added to the menu this year!

Our kitchen is peanut free, but tree nuts and other allergens may be used.

Lost Creek Flowers got its start as just a few rows of flowers that were grown specifically for the enjoyment of Donna to be greeted with when she came home each day. Interest quickly developed from others, and we realized there was a demand and a need for the products and services we could provide. We specialize in unique cottage style flowers that provide quality blooms that are both beautiful and long lasting. Our flowers are grown on our farms in Jonesboro and Paragould.

We recently opened a flower stand in our Jonesboro location featuring bouquets ready for pickup, locally grown produce, and baked goods from other small businesses. You can also find us at Judd Hill Farmers’ Market and the Paragould Farmers’ Market. Delivery is available to both areas.

I wanted to post a video. I keep getting too emotional to trudge through. My heart is breaking. So incredibly vulnerable written post it is.

To be able to keep our doors open until the end of the month we need at least $15,000 in sales by end of day Monday. It sounds like too much. It’s doable.

Rewind 6 years ago & I would have NEVER thought I would be asking. It was the wrong decision to move the store. I thought it was better for my customers. Drive thru. More parking. MUCH easier entrance & exit. We’ve never recovered. Hind sight…

My dream has made it 14 1/2 years. Jonesboro had been my home for over 20 years. This business is the only income I have to support my 3 boys. I’m not looking for a handout. I only want to keep my local, small business alive & thriving.

My name is Lori Byrd. I have loved art my whole life. I taught mobile paint parties, along side my teenage daughter, for women’s groups for several years. I started volunteering at our homeschool Coop in 2022 and just loved focusing on the kids.

My studios specialty is kids, letting them be creative and experiment with all kinds of different art mediums. We have Parent’s Night out with different themes and painting games. We have themed summer art and craft camps for ages 7-14. The end of each camp will have an art show where kids can show off their creations to friends and family.
This summer look for Open Studio Hours where kids can come in, pick a project and PAINT!

My Kids birthdays have always been my favorite time of year, combine that with Art and it’s an amazing birthday your kids won’t forget. We are a Pokemon card store. We also carry a multitude of Pokemon figurines and jewelry accessories. We also have dragon ball z collectible statues.
We have a huge card collecting accessory section and we cater to players! We have started local casual play in store on Saturday evening and are applying to hold league play soon! We love to teach new collectors all about collecting and playing Pokemon! You’re never too old or too young to pick it up or get back into the hobby!
We have top loader binders, card sleeves, sealed products like booster boxes and Etbs and collection boxes like vstar and vmax boxes. We get new release products on or before release date and always try to share the best deals we can with the community! We love to see peoples binders and collections and we will show you how to look up card value as well! We also offer card grading services!

We started out as collectors years ago and we fell out of the hobby with work and life. We got back into Pokemon when the celebration 25th anniversary set came out and we haven’t looked back since. As far as selling, we started selling Pokemon via live stream on whatnot. () We finally were able to secure a location in Jonesboro Arkansas and opened the doors January 12th 2024. I wanted to introduce myself to all the small businesses and others on this page! My name is Allisa and I own and run the candy store Carroll's Candies . I am a Navy Veteran and a proud Mama to my sweet kiddo. I went to school for my Masters in Marketing and want to use my skills while helping my fellow small business owners.
My goal with this page to showcase all the small owner operated businesses that have started from the ground up right here in Jonesboro! A lot of customers come in to our store and say “WOW! I didn’t even know you existed.”
Marketing 💰 is really expensive and sometimes as we start a business it doesn’t really fit into our budget even though we could really use it! Real estate is also really expensive so sometimes these businesses need to start in locations that are “hidden” to the middle of the shopping areas and are just off the beaten path.
There are so many awesome businesses here in our own town that are hiding and just need to be discovered by people like you! My goal is to make this page the directory for all the hidden gems and even not so hidden gems in this town that people already know and love. Any business is highly encouraged to participate, especially the home based businesses! After all, that is where my journey began!

We are a full-service pool company that builds, repairs and services pools and pool equipment. Pool Masters is licensed, bonded & insured with over 30 years of experience. We are here to help make your pool building and pool care easier. Voted best of NEA for the past 4 years!

A few things to consider when building a new pool.
1. Be certain your builder has a Contractors License for Pool Builds. Some "Pool" contractors only have their general contractor license. There is a HUGE difference.
2. Make sure the company you go with is Insured and Bonded through their company name.
3. An experienced & reputable pool builder should always have references. We recommend checking with at least 2 of their previous customers.
4. Cost & this is a big one ***** There are companies that sell poor quality pools at a very low price. Familiarize yourself with the brand names of your equipment and kits. Some cheap pools and the equipment is not repairable and when it breaks you might have to buy it all over again.
5. Delivery time...... After designing, acquiring permits, pouring concrete and installing the kit and liner an average pool should be completed within 3 or 4 weeks, weather permitting.
6. Does the builder have a brick and mortar store or recommend a good one that keeps your water and equipment in check? A good builder will refer you to a pool store for after care.
7. A builder asking for large sums of money several months prior to actual start of the build is also considered a potential red flag.
8. Make sure the people that build your pool keep their work area clean before, during and when the pool is complete.
9. Get it ALL in writing
We hope that when you decide to build a pool you choose us but if not please use this as reference.

Carroll’s Candies is a specialty candy store that carries hundreds of different types of candies. We specialize in foreign candy, glass bottle sodas, freeze dried candy, TikTok trends, nostalgic candy, popcorn, snacks, fudge, artisan chocolates, and so much more!

My husband and I got started in the candy business in 2020 by selling handmade fudge at local fairs, festivals, and farmers markets. We decided after traveling for a while that we were going to open a physical store in 2022. We opened a small shop off S Caraway and were there for 2 years and decided to upgrade to our current location on Alexander Drive this year.

We LOVE candy and have plenty of years of expertise of candy sampling and are always looking to give our favorite recommendations out to others. We absolutely adore seeing all the kiddos come in with their HUGE smiles and bright eyes just browsing for their favorite treat. We carry a wide variety of goodies, some for the young and some for the young at heart.

Some customer favorites are our themed mystery bags and our vast foreign candy selection. We can customize gift baskets on site or you can purchase some of our pre-made baskets we have on hand. We also try to carry locally made crafts/products such as our stuffed animals from The Cozy Cottage or our freeze dried candy from Holly’s Dazzling Designs.
