The origin of the event dates back to the early 1900s, when fishermen used glass floats as markers on their nets. Had a fun time participating in the Sea Palms 4th of July Parade. It was a nice sunny day, and we had a good turn out. We finished up at the Sea Palms Club House for a brief ceremony, and then some hot dogs and cold drinks it was a good day. Thanks to the Sea Palms Resort who organized this for the community!!!!!
