We are a company specialising in the restoration of old, vernacular buildings in Tuscany using traditional methods consistent with the structure of the buildings we work on. We are passionate about the use of eco-friendly materials and restoring with the maximum respect possible for a building and its surroundings. So far, against the mainstream, we have worked on buildings in historic towns and v
illages so don't expect pictures of pools, however tasteful! We think that there are some beautiful properties out there in the countryside but we have felt drawn to the challenge of helping to preserve urban and village buildings whilst making them pleasant to live in, especially for those of you who to prefer not to have to get in the car to have your coffee and brioche in the morning. In addition to buying, restoring and selling property ourselves we also restore on behalf of clients and offer maintenance, management and other property services. We do everything possible to ensure that buying, finding, restoring or managing your personal Tuscan dream is enjoyable and worry free. Toscana Restoration has two partners, one Italian and the other English and is born out of professional experience and a deep enthusiasm for the area and its houses. We work mainly in the historic hill towns of the Val d’Orcia just south of Siena, and are based near the beautiful hill-top town of Montalcino.
