Bangalore Literature Festival Bengaluru city’s celebration of reading and writing.
14-15 Dec 2024 at Hotel LaLiT Ashok.

Founded in 2012, as a non-profit trust, the Bangalore Literature Festival has had ten very successful editions to date with over 1500 authors and speakers from India and abroad participating. The Festival is India’s largest independent and community-funded literary conclave and Bengaluru city’s flagship annual literary and cultural experience focused on rekindling the romance with literature and fostering fine reading and writing, especially amongst the young population of the city.

This year, the prize celebrates the timeless power of the short story—a form that has captured humanity’s imagination for throusands of years.

Take the shuttle to !

In partnership with , we’re operating a free shuttle service between the venue and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Station/Vidhana Soudha station on the Purple Line.

🔁 The shuttle is available at Entrance A – Vidhana Soudha/Indian Express Building exit.

👀 Look for festival signage or our friendly volunteers—they’ll point you in the right direction.

⌚️ Plan ahead! The shuttles run frequently through the day, but buffer for some wait time. It runs from 9am to 8pm.

If you can’t avoid the drive, there’s a paid parking + shuttle option too.

🚘 Park at Prestige Trade Towers (near Sophia High School) and hop on the free shuttle from the ground floor porch to the venue.

🚌 In partnership with Personal2Public, we're operating a free shuttle service between the venue and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Station/Vidhana Soudha station on the Purple Line.

👀 Look for festival signage or our friendly volunteers—they’ll point you in the right direction.
