We are happy and thankful to the Almighty to now have Maameen Productions fully functioning in the holy city of Safed, Israel. Maameen comes with over 20 years experience in reggae/ska/rocksteady/dancehall production, composition and performance. Originating in L.A., coming through Jamaica and now in Israel, Maameen promises to give you the authentic world reggae sound. Maameen will be releasing i

In Memory of Ras Donovan-I Leon (1965-2015)
Born in Trenchtown, Kingston Jamaica and growing up in the Greenwich Farm area alongside so many reggae legends his commintment to righteous Reggae Music never failed.
At a young age he was guided and encouraged by John Holt, T***s and Prince Alla to pursue his singing. After coming to America in the 90s he never stopped.
I linked with Donovan a couple of months after his coming to the States and we started a musical collaboration that lasted nearly 25 years.
Here is one of the last ones we did. Farewell Donovan - my big brother and friend.
