We are not looking to rip up the country side with large groups of noisy two strokes, instead we limit numbers to keep things bespoke. Tours will vary depending on conditions and the groups pace but they are primarily designed for big bikes, 650cc and above. Enquire if you have something smaller and are just starting out.
Basic mechanical and medical support will be available from the guides, we can provide recovery back to base but personal break down recovery for the onward journey is a must. A personal tool kit with puncture repair is recommended. Your bike must have adequate engine and sump protection, and a pair of lever guards is suggested. We can recommend appropriate additions for your bike if requested.
Personal protective equipment is a necessity, ideally upper body armour, rigid motor cross style boots and wet weather gear however, a good adventure suit and adventure boots will suffice.
Our ride your own bike, guided tours are on a combination of byways, unclassified roads and surfaced roads. Bikes must be road legal, taxed and insured. The more trail orientated tyres on your bike, the more traction you will have, we advise at least 50/50 on road/off road for our tours. Some excellent big bike options are Michelin Anakee Wild’s and Continental TKC 80’s.
